How do I set up email in Apple Mail on iPhone or iPad?

Add the mailbox to Apple Mail on iPhone or iPad. Current versions use Settings → Apps → Mail → Mail Accounts → Add Account; older versions may place Mail directly under Settings.

1. Enter your email address and continue. For manual setup choose Add Other Account → Mail Account (older versions may show Other → Add Mail Account).
2. Enter your display name, full email address, mailbox password, and an account description.
3. If automatic setup cannot find the account, choose IMAP and enter the incoming and outgoing server details below. The outgoing username and password are required.
4. Continue verification, enable Mail, and save. In the account's advanced/server settings, confirm the selected secure ports.

• Username: Your full email address; use your mailbox password.
• IMAP (recommended): webmail.globalmcs.net, port 993, SSL/TLS.
• POP3 (alternative): webmail.globalmcs.net, port 995, SSL/TLS.
• SMTP: webmail.globalmcs.net, port 465 with SSL/TLS, or port 587 with STARTTLS.
• SMTP authentication: Required, using the same full email address and mailbox password as incoming mail.

Use the server hostname supplied for your account. A custom name such as mail.yourdomain.com works only when its DNS and valid certificate are configured for that name. If a certificate warning appears, stop and contact support to correct the hostname or certificate. Do not bypass the warning or disable certificate validation. Enter your password only in your own mail application or verified control panel, never in a support chat.
