How to set up email on Microsoft Outlook (Outlook 365, 2024, 2021, 2019, & New Outlook for Windows)
Follow these steps to connect your Global MCS custom domain mailbox to the latest versions of Microsoft Outlook on Windows or Mac:
- Open Microsoft Outlook and click File → Add Account (or Settings → Accounts → Add Account in the New Outlook).
- Enter your full email address (e.g.,
you@yourdomain.com), click Advanced options, check "Let me set up my account manually", and click Connect. - Select IMAP (Recommended) or POP.
- Configure the server settings:
- Incoming Mail (IMAP): Server:
webmail.globalmcs.net(ormail.yourdomain.com) • Port:993• Encryption method:SSL/TLS - Outgoing Mail (SMTP): Server:

- Incoming Mail (IMAP): Server:
- Check "Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)" (leave unchecked if your client authenticates via normal password over SSL) and ensure "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication" is checked with "Use same settings as incoming mail server" enabled.
- Enter your email account password and click Connect / Next. Outlook will test the connection and display "Account successfully added".
How to set up email on Apple iOS Devices (iPhone & iPad - iOS 17, 18 & iPadOS)
Configure your Global MCS mailbox in the native Apple Mail app on iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch:
- Open Settings on your iOS device → scroll down and tap Mail → tap Accounts → tap Add Account.
- Select Other from the list of account providers, then tap Add Mail Account.
- Enter your account details:
- Name: Your full name or business name (as you want recipients to see).
- Email: Your full email address (e.g.,
you@yourdomain.com). - Password: Your email password.
- Description: A nickname for the account (e.g., Work Email).
- Tap Next. Make sure IMAP is selected at the top tab.
- Enter Server Information:
- Incoming Mail Server: Host Name:
webmail.globalmcs.net• Username: Your full email address • Password: Your email password. - Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): Host Name:
webmail.globalmcs.net• Username: Your full email address (required) • Password: Your email password (required).
- Incoming Mail Server: Host Name:
- Tap Next. iOS will verify the SSL certificates. If prompted with a certificate notice, tap Trust / Continue.
- Enable Mail (and optionally Notes), then tap Save.
How to set up email in Apple Mail on macOS (macOS Sonoma, Sequoia, & Ventura)
Connect your mailbox to the built-in Mail app on Apple Mac computers:
- Launch the Mail app on your Mac.
- In the top menu bar, click Mail → Add Account... (or click Settings / Preferences → Accounts → +).
- Choose Other Mail Account... and click Continue.
- Enter your Name, full Email Address, and Password, then click Sign In.
- If prompted for manual server details:
- Account Type: IMAP (Recommended) or POP.
- Incoming Mail Server:
webmail.globalmcs.net• User Name: Your full email address. - Outgoing Mail Server:
webmail.globalmcs.net• User Name: Your full email address.
- Click Sign In. Under Select the apps you want to use with this account, check Mail and click Done.
- Verification Tip: In Mail → Settings → Accounts → Server Settings, verify that Automatically manage connection settings is enabled, or manually verify IMAP Port 993 (SSL/TLS) and SMTP Port 465 (SSL/TLS).
How to set up email on Android Devices (Samsung, Google Pixel, Android 14 & 15)
Set up your Global MCS email using the Gmail app or Samsung Email app on any Android device:
- Open the Gmail app (or Samsung Email) → tap your profile avatar in the top right → select Add another account.
- On the Set up email screen, choose Other.
- Enter your full email address (e.g.,
you@yourdomain.com) → tap Manual setup → choose Personal (IMAP). - Enter your email account password and tap Next.
- Incoming Server Settings:
- Username: Your full email address.
- Server:
webmail.globalmcs.net - Port:
993• Security type:SSL/TLS(or SSL/TLS - accept all certificates).
- Outgoing Server Settings:
- Require sign-in: Checked (ON).
- Username: Your full email address.

- Select sync frequency and notification preferences, then enter your name as you would like it to appear on outbound emails. Tap Next / Done.
How to set up email in Mozilla Thunderbird (Thunderbird 128+ Supernova)
Configure Mozilla Thunderbird on Windows, Mac, or Linux:
- Open Mozilla Thunderbird. From the main screen or menu (≡), click Account Settings → Account Actions → Add Mail Account.
- Enter your Full Name, Email Address, and Password. Check "Remember password".
- Click Configure manually at the bottom.
- Enter the following connection details:

- Incoming: Protocol:
- Click Re-test to verify connection parameters with the server.
- Click Done. Thunderbird will synchronize your folders and inbox immediately.
How to repair corrupted Outlook PST/OST data files (SCANPST.EXE)
If Microsoft Outlook fails to open data files or reports errors, use Microsoft's built-in Inbox Repair Tool (SCANPST.EXE):
- Exit Outlook completely.
- Locate
SCANPST.EXEon your computer (typically found inC:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\SCANPST.EXEorC:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\root\Office16\). - Double-click SCANPST.EXE to launch the tool.
- Click Browse and locate your
.pstor.ostfile (usually inC:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\OutlookorDocuments\Outlook Files). - Click Start to scan for integrity errors and folder structure problems.
- When errors are detected, ensure "Make a backup of scanned file before repairing" is checked, then click Repair.
- Once complete, restart Outlook. If items were damaged, check the rebuilt Lost and Found folder.
