The starting point
The original challenge
DV Fusion Film’s existing website was built with Flash. Alongside a refreshed presentation for the photography and videography business, the client needed a better way to manage the website’s content. The project therefore involved both redesigning the website and moving it to WordPress.

From Flash to a WordPress website
Global MCS redesigned the Flash-based website and rebuilt it in WordPress. The work brought a new website presentation together with a content-management system the client could use to manage the site’s information.
Content management for the client
Moving the site to WordPress gave the client an editing interface for managing website content. Easier content management was a central purpose of the rebuild, alongside presenting the business’s photography and video work.
On-page SEO for photography and videography services
We improved page titles and meta descriptions to describe the content and services on each page more clearly. The work also included refining relevant keyphrases within the website content, connecting the language used on service pages with the photography and videography services the business provides.
Structured data for the services
We added structured data describing DV Fusion Film’s services. This complements the visible service content with machine-readable information about what the business offers, as part of the website’s on-page SEO work.
Website hosting
We provide hosting for the DV Fusion Film website. This forms part of the continuing relationship alongside the design work.
Continuing website maintenance
