Sacred Heart Catholic Church

A parish website supported over the long term, combining an earlier redesign with hosting and weekly content updates for the church community.

Project

Original redesign about ten years ago; ongoing weekly updates

Our work

Website design & redesign · Website hosting · Website maintenance

The starting point

The original challenge

Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pinellas Park needs its website to serve people who are already part of the parish as well as those planning their first visit. Mass information, bulletins, parish contacts, ministries, and events have different audiences, but all need a dependable place in the website.

The original redesign took place about ten years ago. The continuing requirement is therefore different from a one-time launch: the church needs its content maintained as parish life changes. A website can retain a familiar design while the information inside it requires attention every week. This case separates that original design work from the ongoing service relationship.

Our contribution

What Global MCS delivered

An earlier website redesign

Global MCS redesigned the parish website as part of a relationship that began about ten years ago. The current site brings together parish information, worship and sacrament information, ministries, events, and contact details. These sections give parishioners and visitors routes to different kinds of information without requiring every update to live on the homepage.

Hosting for the parish website

We provide hosting as part of the work for Sacred Heart. Hosting is the operating foundation for the website, while content maintenance is the work of keeping its pages useful. Describing them separately makes the scope clear: the relationship covers both the hosted site and ongoing attention to what the parish publishes.

Weekly content maintenance

Global MCS maintains the website content weekly to help the parish keep its community informed. The live website includes bulletins, Mass information, parish news, and event information. The continuing work is centered on the church’s communications, so the website remains a place to consult for parish information rather than a record of an old launch.

What the website supports

  • Parishioners can reach bulletins, Mass information, and church contacts from the parish website.
  • Visitors can explore worship, sacraments, ministries, and parish information before contacting the church.
  • The parish has an ongoing content-maintenance relationship instead of relying only on the original redesign.

The ongoing relationship

Our continuing role combines hosting with weekly content maintenance. The parish website remains an ongoing responsibility as bulletins, news, and events change throughout the year. The original redesign established the website; the continuing work supports the church’s regular communications with its community.
