St. Thomas Water Taxis

For an existing client, Global MCS refactored AI-generated static HTML into a production-ready PHP website while retaining the URL structure of the earlier site we had built.

Project

Original website built in May 2023; later refactored from client-generated AI files into PHP

Our work

Custom PHP development

The starting point

The original challenge

The customer behind Sonic Charters also operates St. Thomas Water Taxis. We first built their water taxi website in May 2023. For the latest version, the client generated a new website with AI and supplied static HTML files. They needed us to turn those files into a production-ready PHP website while keeping the existing URL structure.

Our contribution

What Global MCS delivered

From client-generated HTML to production-ready PHP

The client supplied the AI-generated design and static HTML. Global MCS handled the refactoring into a custom PHP website and the development work needed to bring that supplied starting point into production.

Keeping the existing URL structure

We retained the URL structure from the earlier website we had built for the client. The search-related work focused on this continuity during the refactor; this project did not include a broader SEO campaign.

Building on an established client relationship

This project continued our work with the customer behind both St. Thomas Water Taxis and Sonic Charters. Our role evolved from building the original water taxi website in May 2023 to implementing the latest version from the client’s AI-generated files.
